In this video the teacher promotes social awareness skills when he tells children to give each other space.

In this exemplar video a teacher helps toddlers in her class move from one activity to another. Notice how the teacher establishes a consistent way to transition from one activity to the next by signing a song as a transition signal –these are examples of a way teachers can verbalize appropriate expectations and limits for children, and model appropriate behavior for children.
