DEFINITIONS
Children grow in different areas—like critical-thinking, moving, talking, and getting along with others—and these areas are all connected. When a child grows in one area, it can help them grow in another. For example, learning to talk can help with making friends. Teachers can support this by watching how children grow in all areas and planning activities that build on those connections.
