DEFINITIONS
No single guidance approach works for every child. Teachers observe and learn about each child's personality, character, and developmental level to determine what kind of support they need. Some children feel supported with prompts, while others thrive when given specific, step-by-step guidance. Adjusting strategies to fit the individual child helps support their social and emotional growth in meaningful ways.
