Consistently follows a daily schedule

DEFINITIONS

Teachers can provide a predictable learning environment by following a balanced daily schedule. A balanced schedule includes quiet and active periods, adult and child-directed activities, individual, small, and large group play, and indoor and outdoor play. Consistent routines help children adapt to their environment and promote feelings of security.
