DEFINITIONS

Teachers support children's growth by planning activities and lessons that address all areas of development: thinking (cognitive), moving (motor), talking (language), and feelings and relationships (social-emotional). Intentional planning across all domains helps children learn and grow in a balanced way, connecting daily activities to developmental goals based on each child's abilities and interests.
