In this video, a child points to the toys in front of her and makes a sound while doing so. The ECE notices and promptly responds to the child’s cues. The ECE interprets the cue as the child wanting to play with the blocks too, and encourages the child to do so. The ECE then models and supports the children with cleaning up the toys and putting them in the bin.
